Hostile testing

- Deliberately adversarial checking aimed at finding counterexamples, hidden assumptions, numerical artefacts or failure modes.

Hostile testing means actively trying to make a proposed result fail rather than only collecting evidence that supports it.
On Riemann Console this can include recomputation, alternate representations, boundary cases, precision and sign checks, tail tests, counterexample searches and literature comparison. A route that survives such attacks is better understood; a route that fails can still produce useful progress.
